The Sunshine Jazz Organization (SJO)
Miami's oldest and
one of the most established jazz membership entity is dedicated
to the promotion and proliferation of jazz music and appreciation
through the encouragement of Florida jazz talent to workshops,
performances and monthly jam sessions. The organization provides
a musician's referral service, audio and video libraries, tours,
records and radio shows. The organization also networks, with
and acts as an informational clearinghouse for jazz societies
and musicians, not only nationally but also internationally.

An interactive educational
children's drum and percussion team-building music entertainment
experience where kids discover rhythm! Fun and educational programs
designed for boys and girls ages 6-12 and teens, kids learn about
different ethnic rhythms from many countries around the World,
receive basic instruction on playing various percussion.
Latin Music History
Explore the universal language of Latin music as part of the
Latin Music History On-Line course. This interactive course is
offers an intensive overview on the evolution of contemporary
Latin music covering over 100 years from the late 1800s to the

Miami Jazz Museum
The Miami Jazz Museum is a nonprofit organization that seeks
to enrich the human condition and help contribute to the wellness
of Miami's multi-ethnic community through its cultural anthropological
research initiative dedicated to the advancement, education and
historical preservation of Miami's Jazz heritage.
Bobby Ramirez Foundation
Particularly dedicated to assisting children's charities, as
well as other noteworthy charities by providing free or low cost
music performances and educational music/arts workshops, as well
as donating instruments, music arrangements to schools, and music
scholarship funds to low income students.
